MBLAQ’s Lee Joon is known for making the ladies swoon with just a simple flex of his muscles. But it seems like he’s met his match in a little girl named Dayoung .

On January 26th, KBS JOY will air a new episode of ‘Hello Baby Season 5 ‘ – a reality show that sees the members of MBLAQ become proxy parents to three young children.

Lauren and Dayoung, two of the little girls on the show, both seem to favor MBLAQ’s G.O. As such, Dayoung couldn’t hide her jealousy when she saw G.O. playing with Lauren.

Noticing how upset Dayoung was, Lee Joon took it upon himself to try and cheer her up with his “muscle aegyo”. Unfortunately for him, Lauren looked less than impressed with his musculature, and even scrunched up her face.

[News] MBLAQ holds a press conference for ‘Hello Baby’

On January 16th, the members of MBLAQ attended their press conference for KBS JOY’s ‘Hello Baby’ , held at the Hotel Novotel Seoul Ambassador Gangnam.

As reported earlier, MBLAQ were chosen to be the ‘fathers’ of this season’s ‘Hello Baby’ children. Contrary to initial reports, the boys will be taking care of not just one, but three children who also from different parts of the world. Since the children are from Vietnam, France, and Canada, it’s expected that there will be greater obstacles to communication than in previous seasons.

The boys will have to use their wits and sensitivity in order to problem solve and be the best parents they can be.

During the press conference, member Lee Joon revealed that children don’t seem to like him because he is “greasy”.

“I was shocked when the children called me greasy after they looked at me,” he said.

When asked for his thoughts on being in ‘Hello Baby – Season Five’, Lee Joon admitted, “It was a problem because I didn’t get too close with the children.”

He continued, “I thought I was doing well with them, but they don’t like me. I wasn’t aware that they didn’t like me, so I was surprised when they told me, ‘You look greasy’.”

“I was worried that they wouldn’t like me, and unfortunately, my concerns were correct. They do not,” he said, causing everyone in the room to laugh.

This will be the fifth season of ‘Hello Baby’. Previous seasons had starred Girls’ Generation, SHINee, T-ara, SISTAR and Super Junior’s Leeteuk.

[News] MBLAQ releases preview for ‘Hello Baby’ Season 5

On January 12th, a video preview for the new season showed MBLAQ talking about their wonderful first impressions of their children. The happy mood quickly changed, however, as the members expressed the difficulties of becoming a dad.

The preview began with Thunder, Mir and Lee Joon saying that the children were like angels or walking dolls. G.O. expressed his anticipation for the new role while Seung Ho expressed, “Whoever it is, I am confident.”

Later, Seung Ho admitted that being a dad was more challenging than it seemed. “This is more than what I had imagined (it to be like),” he said as Lee Joon concurred with a sigh.

The show will air its season premiere on January 19th.

[Picture] MBLAQ reveals an event poster for ‘Hello Baby’ Season 5 (From 120110)

A few days ago an event poster was released showing MBLAQ with their three children, Leo, Lauren, and Dayoung.

The poster announced that fans will have a chance to win signed MBLAQ cds if they:
download the KBS Joy app for their smart phones, take a picture while watching the program, and lastly send the photos to KBS Joy through the app.
Five lucky winners will win an entire MBLAQ collection and 10 lucky winners will win signed MBLAQ cds. Winners will be announced on January 27.

A+ fans are anticipating Hello Baby’s first episode on January 19. Let’s see how MBLAQ’s parenting skills will compare to Girl’s Generation, SHINee, T-ara, and Leeteuk & SISTAR.

[News] MBLAQ confirmed for KBS Joy “Hello Baby” Season 5

Five-member group MBLAQ has been confirmed as the new members of the Season 5 of ‘ Hello Baby ’ which will be broadcasted at the end of January. ‘Hello Baby’ is a program where idol stars can express their baby raising skills, and with previous casted stars such as SNSD, SHINee, T-ARA , and Sistar, the program has attracted a lot of interest.

A representative from JtuneCamp, MBLAQ’s company, expressed, “All of the MBLAQ members love children, so they decided to take part in this new season.” and “Members Mir and G.O. have previously showed their affection for children by interacting frequently with their nephews.”

They continued on to say, “You can expect to see each member’s special trait through this program.”

‘MBLAQ’s Hello Baby ’ will have its first recording this week, and the first episode is scheduled to be broadcasted at the end of January. On a side note, MBLAQ will have their comeback with their 4th mini-album consisting of 5 tracks on January 10th.
