[News] Celebrity Football Team FC MEN To Hold Charity Football Match In Japan

Celebrity football team FC Men will be holding a charity football match in Japan!

According to a Japanese music site, FC MEN members such as JYJ’s Junsu, BEAST’s Lee Ki Kwang and Yoon Doojoon, as well as 2AM’s Changmin and Kim Hyun Joong will be holding a charity football match at the Tokyo Kokuritsu Kyogijo (National Stadium).

The event, which will be held on April 28th, is to support the rebuilding of areas affected by the Tohoku earthquake. All proceeds from the charity match will be donated to the people who lost their livelihood due to the earthquake.

Meanwhile, idol groups BEAST, 2AM and other popular singers are expected to take part in the competition as well. More information will be put up on the FC MEN official site on February 13th.

[News] Kim Hyun Joong concludes first concert in Japan with over 20,000 fans

Kim Hyun Joong has taken Japan by storm! On the 5th of February Kim Hyun Joong had a successful first concert in Japan “Kim Hyun Joong 2012 The Premium live” concert in Japan. Over 20,000 fans gathered on the large scale event and the concert lasted for 5 hours and when the performance started thousands of fans started cheering and screaming.

Kim Hyun Joong performed his hits “Kiss Kiss”, “Lucky Guy” and “Break Down” and aside from his performances, he had a talk show segment and took time to talk with his fans. Japanese media were also not absent as media reporters from Fuji TV, Nippon TV, TV Asahi, Nikkan Sports, Sankei Sports and other leading media in Japan also watched and took full coverage of the event.

Kim Hyun Joong is surely having a magnificent Japan debut with his debut single in Japan topping the oricon charts, fans swarming at his surprise fan meeting event and thousands of fans in attendance to his first concert.

[News] Super Junior, Big Bang, and SHINee are in the top ten ‘Singer You’d Like to Perform at the 2012 London Olympics’ list

On January 7th, Super Junior‘s Donghae commented on a recent The Top Tens poll that asked ‘Singers You’d Like to Perform at the 2012 London Olympics’. The Top Tens is a collection of visitor created top ten lists categorized by list type and made available for creators to edit and add to as they see fit.

After seeing that Super Junior took the #1 spot beating out top acts like Lady Gaga and Justin Beiber, Donghae proudly wrote, “My my my….I guess we’ll have to go to London^^”.

K-Pop fans further voted Big Bang at #2 and SHINee at #6, showing the commitment of hallyu wave fans in promoting their favorite artists.
